Here soon!
Publication of my book of short stories 'Times Hearts' is delayed. It will not now be published until this Monday, 10th May. It has been complicated by a mini novella, which needed some tending too and a short story that is still not complete. So publication has been put back until Monday next.
Sorry about the delay. Thank you for your patience.
A re-edit of 'The Seasons May Drift' will commence once 'Times Heart's is published. Then after, work will commence on 'Scenes from a Journey' and later this year, the audio version of my first book 'The Promise.'
Next year sees work beginning on a historical romance novel. Which will most likely take some many months to complete, if not a year. The novel, it is hoped, will be published in paperback and available through my blog and website to purchase, with limited signed copies available.. It will not be available in eBook form, although a sample chapter will be made available online.
All this to come.
I am rather excited by the work that is yet to be written. I love the creative process of writing a book and all that it entails, bar formatting of course!
Will update again in the next day or so!

Publication of my next book 'Times Hearts' is delayed by one day! I had intended to have it published on Wednesday the 5th of June but I am still working away on finishing up a story which is taking longer than anticipated.
I did so hope to have it finished by today but alas this was not to be. The book contains a number of short stories and a mini novella.
Blog Update later today

Write Away!
News and Announcements
I'm currently midway through my next book 'Times Hearts.' The book, although intended just for short stories, will include a mini novella.
As of this minute, I have some firm favorite short stories already included. The theme of the book is romance and relationships in the contemporary, fantasy and historical genres. In essence there is something for everyone in it, at least I hope so! The book is set to be published on the 5th of June.
Aside of writing, I will be hosting another 24 hour Twitter Fundraiser for Pancreatitis Research on the 26th. The last one I just made it to the 24hrs.
I am hoping this time round that I can raise more money for such a worthy cause and in memory of a very dear close friend Carl Cropley, who lost his battle with Pancreatitis last year.
Please give what you can, no matter how small to help research into pancreatitis and other diseases of the pancreas. Donate what you can, either text or online. http://www.justgiving.com/hopeforcure
Please note: All donations go directly to the charity so they can continue this vital research.
So far £21 has been raised of a target of £3000. There is a long way to go and even though when I am not doing a 24hr Twitter Fundraisers for the charity, you can still give even the smallest amount by text or online
To Donate by text simply text code:

Please please help the charity. I know times are tough but if we all chip in a little then we can do a lot! Thank you so very much x

Writing and Research
News and Updates
'Times Hearts' is my next book. It is a compliation of short stories of romance and relationships, both contemporary and historical. The book is coming along nicely. Still lots to be done. I am not sure about making a trailer for this book, as I have done so with my other books. 'Times Hearts' will be published on the 5th of June this year.
I have lots of research to undertake for an historical romance novel to be published sometime in 2014 or possibly early 2015. I do have a title for the book already but will not make it available until I have a cover designed and a good amount of the novel written. This will be my biggest novel and challenge to date. I am looking at possibly 80,000 words or more.
I will also be re editing 'The Seasons May Drift' as I am not really happy with it overall. Just needs some adjustments, tweaks, etc, I hope to have this completed sometime in the summer.
'Scenes from a Journey' writing will recommence about August with publication in September or October.
The audio version of my first published book 'The Promise' will be recorded sometime during the summer/early autumn. Publication to be determined.

Fundraising and Book Writing!
Multitasking Ahoy!
As of this moment, I am multitasking, writing my book, whilst fundraising on twitter and trying to assist three friends with different projects!
My Fundraising for Pancreatitis Research at Liverpool University Hosptial.
Firstly, I will start with my fundraising as that is quite important to me. I am running in this years Flora Women's Mini Marathon on 3rd of June 2013.
Each year I have taken part in this marathon, I raise funds for charities/causes close to my heart. This years charity is even closer to my heart, the reason is a very dear close friend, Carl Cropley, passed away unexpectedly last year from pancreatitis, so it seemed very appropriate that I should raise funding for research into pancreatitis. So for this years marathon and in Carl's memory I hope to raise £3,000 for Pancreatitis Research at Liverpool University Hosptial.
I would appreciateyour support in helping me achieve my target. Please click on the 'JustGiving' Sponsor Me' badge to the right of my blog, just under my profile. It will take you directly to the fundraising page. Please note that any money you donate goes directly to the hospital research and not to me. So you are giving directly to them.
Or just click this link http://www.justgiving.com/hopeforcure
I know times are tough but please give what you can afford, it all helps at the end of the day.
Thank you so much
Jess x
